SKIPPACK SHOPS: After The Fire: “Thank you” from Merle Norman Cosmetics - By Jean Curtis, Owner

The staff of Merle Norman Cosmetics in Skippack Village wishes to thank the wonderful men and women of the local fire departments and first responders that quickly came to our rescue on Friday, May 3rd. Our deepest gratitude to all of you that there were no injuries to anyone on the scene because of your skill and efficiency!  Thank you, thank you!

We also extend our deepest appreciation to all of our customers, friends and neighbors who have reached out to us during this very difficult time. Several concerned retail business owners  in Skippack have even offered to share their store space temporarily to help out, which is so generous.  Your support, prayers, and encouragement have bolstered our spirits incredibly!

Our hearts go out to the owners of Head Over Heels and Hodge Podge, whose businesses also suffered great loss due to the extensive smoke and water damage caused by the fire in our store.  While the businesses have been temporarily shut down, plans are already underway to restore all three units for occupancy very soon.

Merle Norman is continuing business operations in a reduced capacity temporarily until the former studio can be opened for business again.  Clients may place mail orders for Merle Norman Cosmetic products by phone at 610-457-3384.  The headquarters office for franchise operations is assisting in filling orders  to keep our clients well supplied, which is very helpful, considering our extensive loyal client base.  Merle Norman is a family owned company for 82 years, still made in America with a large fan base worldwide. Their line of cosmetics are available only in franchise locations, like Skippack.

Skippack is a great community, so please remember to "Shop Local" and support your neighborhood businesses! - By Jean Curtis
