Art enthusiasts, experience the works of regional artists featured in Green Wolf's - Elegant Junque's monthly art exhibitions. A gallery opening reception is held on the first Friday of every month during First Fridays.  During the weekend, many of the artists will be available to discuss their work, and at times offer demonstrations of painting, sculpting, printmaking, wood carving and more.  Please visit our Events page for further details.

Enjoy the "Gifts From Our Loving Husbands" museum exhibit, previewing in the center of the barn. A humorous collection of home makers' inventions given to loved ones to make home life "easier"  along with Skippack memorabilia.

Owners Harry and Sylvia Wolf welcome everyone to explore what's hidden under the roof of Green Wolf's Village Barn Shoppes!

Open 7 days a week (individual store hours may vary) 45 minutes west of Philadelphia, minutes from exit 31 off the PA Turnpike / NE Extension, convenient to other wonderful weekend day trips.

FIRST FRIDAYS in Skippack Village: Artist Margie Thompson / Gallery Opening Reception / September 5th, 2014

Artist Margie Thompson, SSJ, M.F.A. 

Margie Thompson, SSJ, M.F.A. is an artist and a Sister of St Joseph, a certified spiritual director and supervisor of spiritual direction. She is an Associate Professor of Art and Coordinator of Art Studio Programs at Chestnut Hill College. A practicing artist, Margie exhibits her art works regularly and has won awards and commissions. Using images of her art work and other creative activities, she gives retreats and programs on themes of art, spirituality, women’s issues and Evolutionary Theology and Spirituality. In addition, she brings expertise in these areas to her ministry of spiritual direction.

Paintings in this exhibition, “The Burning Bush and Other Encounters in the Landscape,” were created as a result of her painting excursions in June 2012 and 2013 to Ghost Ranch, New Mexico and the Vermont Studio Center an artist retreat in Johnson Vermont.

Opening Reception:   September 5, 2014, 5 – 10pm
