Artist Bobby Wolf

About
Bobby Wolf is a fine and an innovative abstract photographer whose vision of the world inspires viewers of his work to “never give up hope” in the face of uncertainty as he whisks you away on his adventure of light, color, and beauty.

In his senior year at Mathacton High School Bobby set a school record in the 3,200 meters race at the 2002 District 1 Class AAA championship, which to this day he hold the record. However, soon after he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on his spine.  Bobby underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments thus leading to a second operation that left him wheelchair-bound for many months.  Bobby never let those challenges in life hold him back as he surpassed doctors initial diagnosis that he would never walk again and today walks with the assistance of a cane.

Wolf credits his passion of photography to retired Methacton track and cross country coach Charlie Shank who kept in touch during Wolf’s recovery.  He would bring him to Shank’s home to teach him crafts, folk art, and other art mediums including photography, which Wolf instantly was drawn to and exhibited a special talent for.

In July of 2011, Bobby published “Journey True, Beating the Impossible Odds” a book in which he shares his battle with cancer and road to recovery.  Today, Wolf is an active member of the Chester County Art Association, has been accepted to juried art shows throughout the region, and in 2014 was one of several fine artists and fine craftsmen to attend First Friday’s and Skippack Days Arts and Crafts Festival at Green Wolf’s Village Barn Shoppes.

FIRST FRIDAYS in Skippack Village: Artist Michael Cavallaro / Gallery Opening Reception / November 7th, 2014

Artist Michael Cavallaro

Statement
“Art is meant to be felt as well as seen. If you take the time to gaze at the art you find here then let your mind go and take a sensually visual adventure on each canvas, you will feel the magic of each piece. They are filled with texture, color and inner sensory awakenings.

Every piece is spontaneous and intuitive. I also do custom pieces where I tune into the individual who commissioned it and interpret the energy and feeling I get onto the canvas with color and texture.

Painting for me is about expansion, being outside the box, feeling and bringing the unknown to the known. Each piece is its own unique manifestation of invisible creative energy into the visible that excites the senses.”

What is art to me?
“Art is creation! Anything and everything you create should be considered an art. This includes your life as a human being. Being here on earth, we must ‘Master the Art of Being Human’  If you look at your human life as an art form and know that you are here to create a thing of beauty, this will give you a different perspective on life.

Art in the traditional sense such as painting, pastels, sculpting, glassblowing etc. is also a creation. It is in my opinion that this type of art however is merely an expression of your human artistry. It is a way of expressing in multiple mediums the beauty of your inner experience, your vision or your inner connection to the realms of creation unknown to the average person or even your conscious mind. So whether you do “art” or are “Mastering the Art of Being Human” know that everything in your life is a form of art and a work of beauty.”

Artist Linda McManus

Statement
photographer linda mcmanus
“I am a photographer, mom, and all around creative thinker. My photographic services include portrait, event and product photography, as well as residential/commercial property photography for the real estate market.

I also love creating art for licensing. This world began with a photograph of my son with kisses all over his face that was licensed for a greeting card. My commercial work includes various lines of creative imagery including Funny Felines, Floral Foods, Fontography and more. My commercial work has been applied to greeting cards, home decor products, framed art and more. Products have sold nationally and internationally through various catalogs, on line sites, major department store chains and smaller gift boutiques, such as Target stores, Carlton Cards, Wegmans as well as catalog companies such as Country House and Sturbridge Yankee Workshop.

My first love will always be fine art photography. I approach each project and image with a fine artist's eye. My fine art photography series, "Trees", has been exhibited by various galleries and art shows in my local area.

My career path has included lead photographer/manager for QVC.com, launching my own greeting card and licensing business with various publishers, and residential/commercial photographer for high-end real estate brokers in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Motherhood is by far the most rewarding and challenging job I've ever had. I live with my chef husband and two quickly growing boys in beautiful Bucks County PA. I can't deny my love and affection for anything with four legs and fur. We were blessed with the company of "Mac" and German Sheppard for nine wonderful years and recently we were rescued by a little girl named "Zoe".

Giving back is a must! When I can, I donate my service and talents to various charities, including the Bucks County SPCA, Kelly Anne Dolan Fund and the Gia Nicole Angel Foundation.”
